On November 22, 1996 Celine Dion performed at the NEC Arena in Birmingham, United Kingdom with the "Falling Into You Tour", in front of about 13,000 people.
CONCERT IN LONDON
On November 28, 1996 Celine Dion performed at the Wembley Arena in London, United Kingdom with the "Falling Into You Tour", in front of about 14,000 people. The following day Celine performed at the Wembley Arena again. The famous Irish folk rock/pop The Corrs, did the opening act for these concerts.
FAITES LA FETE SHOW
On December 1, 1996 Celine Dion taped a New Year´s Eve show entitled "Faites La Fete" in Paris, France. The show was hosted by popular French journalist and TV host Michel Drucker and it was broadcasted on France 2 channel in France, on December 31, 1996. Celine performed "It´s all coming back to me now" and then she was interviewed. Celine also performed "Je reviendrais á Montréal", in duet with Quebec author, composer, musician, performer and actor, Robert Charlebois. Then, Celine performed "Les derniers seront les premiers" and "Pour que tu m´aimes encore". Celine also performed "All by myself", "Destin" and the famous song "Paroles, paroles", in duet with French actor, Alain Delon. Delon admited that he was "subjugated and upset by Celine´s kindness and simplicity". "She´s great!", he said. Karen Mulder, Brillant, Khaled, World Apart, Ophélie Winter, Karen Mulder, Loïck Peyron, Jeannie Longo, Djamel Bouras, le Crazy Horse, les Chérubins de Sarcelles, Elie Kakou, Jean-Marie Bigard, Gad Elmaleh, Elie et Dieudonné, les Chevaliers du fiel and Danyboon also took part on this show. After the taping, Celine was photographed with Patrick Dupont, Michel Drucker and Alain Delon.
CCFF BENEFIT CONCERT
On December 10, 1996 Celine Dion performed at the Palais Des Congrès in Montreal, Canada on a benefit dinner gala to raise money for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CCFF). During the show, Celine announces a major new sponsorship with Royal Airlines that she personally helped to secure for the CCFF.
CONCERT IN MONTREAL
On December 17, 1996 Celine Dion performed at the Molson Centre in Montreal, Canada with the "Falling Into You Tour" and in front of about 15,000 people. This was the first of a serie of three consecutive concerts in Montreal with this tour. Dressed in white, Celine performed "Je sais pas", "Destin", "The power of love", "Falling into you", "All by myself", "Because you loved me", "Love can move mountains", "Declaration of love", "It´s all coming back to me now", "Pour que tu m´aimes encore" among other. The show featured some special moments. First, it was Celine´s second wedding anniversary. One of the special moments was the performance of "It´s all coming back to me now", which was dedicated by Celine to the Olympic medalist Annie Peletier, who was there in the audience. Celine also performed "The power of the dream" in which she was accompanied by the Canadian Olympic athletes. Some of the performances of this concert were later broadcasted on Quebec TV. Celine performed again at the Molson Centre on December 18 and 19, 1996.
