PRESS CONFERENCE
On December 5, 1998 Celine Dion gave a press conference at the famous library The Book Room in Halifax, Cananda where it took place the launch of the official English biography book titled "Celine: The Authorized Biography", written by Georges-Hébert Germain. Celine was accompanied by the author, Georges-Hébert Germain. During 45 minutes conference, in front of 600 people, Celine talked to the press. She signed few books for children. Celine and Georges-Hébert Germain were photographed with Charles Burchell (the owner of the library), Marc Coté (editor from "Dundura Press") and with Barry Garber. Karl André (from the "7 Jours" magazine) also was there, he interviewed Celine and they were photographed. That night, Celine performed at the Metro Centre, on a benefit concert, part of the "Let´s Talk About Love Tour".

BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS
On December 7, 1998 Celine Dion took part at the Billboard Music Awards Ceremony, wich took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, USA. Celine won six Billboard Awards: Female Album of the Year, Soundtrack Single of the Year, Album Artist of the Year, Adult Contemporary Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Soundtrack Album of the Year. Bette Midler, who performed as well as she presented the show, announced the awards for Celine, who received the awards via satellite from the Molson Center in Montreal, Canada where she was performing with the "Let´s Talk About Love Tour". Carole King physically presented Celine with the Billboard Awards at the Molson Center.

On December 7, 1998 Celine Dion performed at the Molson Center, in Montreal, Canada with "Let´s Talk About Love Tour". Then, after her concert, Celine and her husband, Rene Angelil, gave a press conference at the same Molson Center. Accompanied with the President of Sony Music (France), Paul Rene Albertini, Celine received a diamond record for her album titled "S´il Suffisait D´aimer". During the conference, Celine talked about her show, where she received six Billboard Awards, handed live via satellite by Bette Midler from Las Vegas, USA. She was photographed with Lucille Dumont, Henri Bergeron, Clairette, Renée Girard, Michelle Tisseyre, Jen Roger, Rosita Salvador, René Carnon, Julien Bessette and Roger Sylvain.

On December 9, 1998 Celine Dion appeared during the broadcast of the famous American daytime television talk show "The Rosie O´Donnell Show", hosted by actress and comedian Rosie O´Donnell and aired on Syndication channel in USA. As part of the promotion of the Christmas album "These Are Special Times", Celine performed the song "Another year has gone by". After the perfomance, Celine talked few minutes with Rosie.

On December 11, 1998 Celine Dion appeared on the famous long-running British music chart television programme "Top Of The Pops" broadcasted on BBC channel. She performed the song "My heart will go on" while footage from the film "Titanic" were broadcasted on a big screen behind Celine.

On December 17, 1998 Celine Dion performed at the Molson Center in Montreal, Canada with the "Let´s Talk About Love Tour" in front of more than 6,000 people. Before the concert, Celine was interviewed by the Francophone Canadian talk show host and producer Julie Snyder for a segment aired on the TVA channel in Canada, as part of a TV special entitled "Un An Avec Celine", wich was broadcasted in late February 1999.

CLAUDETTE DION´s WEEDING
On December 19, 1998, Celine Dion and her husband, Rene Angelil, attended to Celine´s sister Claudette Dion´s weeding with Serge Gaudet. The celebration took place at the restaurant Les Deux Cheminées in Rosemère, an off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada. Claudette was using a beautiful white outfit, which was an idea of her old friend Suzanne Colello. Claudette and her husband met when they were very young. Then, they had 4 children (Cathy, Steve, Sébastien and Célia). During the ceremony, two young violinists performed three songs chosen by the couple: "Le canon" from Pachelbel, "L´hymne á l´amour" and "To love you more" from the youngest sister: Celine. Celine posed next to all her sisters and their mother Thérèse Tanguay, and they were photographed with Claudette. Claudette also was photographed with all the brothers and their father Adhémar Dion.

On December 31, 1998 Celine Dion appeared on a video message during the broadcast of the TV show "VH1 Viewers Vote", aired on VH1 channel in USA. Celine received two awards: Best Movie Soundtrack and Best Diva of the Year. Through video messages, Celine accepted the awards and she thanked to all the viewers who voted for her. Celine also talked about her participation at the "VH1 Divas Live" concert at the Beacon Theatre in New York, USA on April 14, 1998.

In December 1998 Celine Dion received the Francophone Canadian talk show host and producer Julie Snyder in her house in Jupiter, Florida, USA. Celine had a long interviewed with Julie next to the pool. Then, at the living room, Celine´s husband, Rene Angelil, showed to Celine and Julie, an old video tape of them in the 80s. Part of this interview was part of a TV special entitled "Un An Avec Celine", wich was broadcasted in late February 1999 on TVA channel in Canada.

In 1998 Celine Dion and her husbad, Rene Angelil attended to the wedding of Linda Dion with Alain Sylvestre (Celine´s sister). The wedding took place at the golf club Le Mirage in Terrebonne, Canada.

IN CANADA
In 1998 Celine Dion went to her native town, Charlemagne near Montreal, Canada. There, Celine recorded a special video, used as part of the TV special "These Are Special Times" aired on November 25, 1998 on CBS channel in USA. On same day, and after the set in Charlemagne, Celine returned to Montreal, to the recording studio, where she recorded two songs with her family.
