On March 10, 1998 Celine Dion attended the showing of the Christian Dior pret-a-porter collection for Autumn-Winter 1998-1999, wich took place in Paris, France. There, Celine met with the fashion designer, John Galliano. Celine also was photographed with Helene Arnault and Bernard Arnault.

ON MAGAZINE
On March 13, 1998 Celine Dion appeared on the cover of the famous American magazine "Entertainment Weekly". They published: "Titanic´s score, featuring Celine Dion´s My heart will go on, isn´t just the biggest seller in history - it´s a shining token of the lucrative marriage between Hollywood and the record business" (by journalist and author, David Browne). The photo of the cover was taken from a special photo session made by Celine to help promote the theme song from the film "Titanic", "My heart will go on".

On March 15, 1998 Celine Dion attended to a fashion show in Paris, France. Celine was photographed with Nan Legeai and with the American fashion designer, Michael Kors. Celine was accompanied with her sister, Manon.
ON INTERVIEW
On March 23, 1998 Celine Dion attended to the 70th Annual Academy Awards ceremony, (frequently known as the Oscars), wich took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, USA. During the red carpet, Celine was interviewed for a segment aired later on RTL channel in Germany.
ACADEMY AWARDS
On March 23, 1998 Celine Dion attended to the 70th Annual Academy Awards ceremony, (frequently known as the Oscars), wich took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, USA. The 70th Academy Awards were noted for their high ratings and the 11 wins obtained by the Best Picture "Titanic". Billy Crystal hosted the ceremony for the sixth time, and received an Emmy Award for his performance. "Titanic" dominated the evening picking up 11 awards out of 14 nominations. The film tied with the most awards nominated with "All About Eve" and tied with the most awards won with "Ben-Hur". Due to the popularity of "Titanic", which was still the #1 movie at the box office at the time, the show earned its highest ratings ever in history based on audience size (57.25 million). Celine won an Oscar in the category Better Original Song. She performed the winning song "My heart will go on", wearing a dark blue high-neck gown by Michael Kors to bring focus to the Titanic-inspired necklace. Celine´s husband, Rene Angelil, was accompanying her. At the end of the ceremony, Celine was photographed with James Horner and Will Jennings. Celine was also photographed with Tommy Mottola. The ceremony was directed by Louis J. Horvitz. After the ceremony, Celine changed her outfit and she was photographed with her husband Rene.
LA SOIREE DU HOCKEY
On March 28, 1998 Celine Dion launched "La Soirée Du Hockey" (literally translated to Hockey Night), a popular ice hockey show in Quebec, wich took place at the Molson Centre in Montreal, Canada. "La Soirée Du Hockey" was the French language SRC equivalent of the English Canadian CBC show "Hockey Night" in Canada. After launched the game, Celine was interviewed for a segmen aired later on SRC channel in Canada.
ON PARTY
On March 30, 1998 Celine Dion celebrated her 30th birthday in Montreal, Canada. Celine´s family and friends surprised her with a disco party. When Celine arrived to the party, she received flowers and she was photographed by the press. After arriving at the extravagant event, Celine quickly changed her outfit in order to fit in with the sequin and boa-clad crowd. The party proved true to tour-tradition as Celine even received a spirited "cake in the face" before the night was over. During the party the band Boogie Wonder performed for the people. The famous TV hoster, Julie Snyder, also was there. Photos of the party were published by the famous magazine "7 Jours", on April 11, 1998.
