BAMBI AWARDS
On November 1, 1996 Celine Dion attended at the Bambi Awards Ceremony in Germany. Celine received an award for Pop International Artist. The prize was given by The Burda Company, one of the biggest editors (newspapers) in Germany. It was the first time that Celine won a prize in that country. Then, she performed the song "All by myself".
ADISQ GALA
On November 6, 1996 Celine Dion took part at the 18th Gala de l´ADISQ, a nonprofit organization with the mission to help the music industry in Quebec, Canada created in 1978 and also known as Félix Awards. The ceremony took place in Montreal, Canada and it was hosted by Yvon Deschamps. During a special hommage to Celine´s husband Rene Angelil, she appeared via satellite from Europe. Celine dedicated few words to her husband and then she performed the song "Ce n´était qu´un rêve". On this night, Rene Angelil won the Félix for Manager of the Year. Celine also won the Félix in the following categories: Album of the Year (for "D´eux"), Interprète féminine, Artiste s´étant le plus illustré(e) hors Québec, Artiste s´étant illustré(e) dans une langue autre que le français, and Spectacle interprète.
ON MEETING
On November 18, 1996 Celine Dion was photographed with the famous French actor and winemaker Gérard Depardieu. They were outside the IVY Restaurant in London, UK.
ON TV SHOW
On November 21, 1996, Celine Dion taped the French TV show "Taratata", hosted by Alexandra Kazan and aired on November 19 on France 2 channel in France. During the show, Celine performed "All by myself", "River deep, mountains high", "Les derniers seront les premiers", "Quand on n´a que l´amour" in duet with Mauranne and "Everything I do (I do it for you)" in duet with Bryan Adams.
