ON TV SHOW
On May 1, 1996 Celine Dion appeared during the broadcast of the famous American morning news and talk show "Good Morning America", hosted by Joan Lunden and aired on ABC channel in USA. Having been offered to be part of the TV show, Celine´s husband, Rene Angelil has said something like: "Yes, with pleasure, but since you´ll soon be in Quebec for your Canadian week, we´ll be on the show you´ll make from Quebec City". And to Quebec City came the huge team of "Good Morning America". They made their show live from the old Quebec City and Celine gave an interview on a balcony from the Chateau Frontenac, and also another one from a stand on the Dufferin terrasse. Celine also performed the song "Because you loved me".
IN MONTE CARLO
On May 6, 1996 Celine Dion arrived to Monte Carlo, Monaco to attend the World Music Awards Ceremony on May 8, 1996. She was accompanied by her manager and husband, Rene Angelil. Celine and Rene attended a lunch which took place at Beach Plaza Hotel. There, Celine was interviewed for several media. After the lunch, Celine went on shopping accompanied by Dutch former model and singer, Karen Mulder.
ON REHEARSALS
On May 6, 1996 Celine Dion attended the rehearsals for the World Music Awards Ceremony at the Salle Des Étoiles of the Sporting Monte-Carlo in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Celine was filmed while the rehearsals for the songs "Because you loved me" and "Pour que tu m´aimes encore", and the thankful speech. Although, during the ceremony she only performed "Because you loved me". Celine met with Shania Twain.
IN MONTE CARLO
On May 7, 1996 Celine Dion, who was in Monte Carlo, Monaco in ocassion to take part at the World Music Awards, posed for a photo session. On that night, Celine attended a cocktail party preparation at the Beach Plaza Hotel, for the World Music Awards the following day, at the Salle Des Étoiles of the Sporting Monte-Carlo in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

On May 8, 1996 Celine Dion attended the World Music Awards Ceremony, which took at the Salle Des Étoiles of the Sporting Monte-Carlo in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The ceremony was hosted by Jean-Claude van Damme and co-hosted by Natalie Cole. Celine performed the song "Because you loved me" and she won the award for World´s Best Selling Canadian Recording Artist of the Year. American singer Tony Bennett gave to Celine the award. On backstage, Celine met with singer Diana Ross. Prince Albert of Monaco, Princess Stephanie of Monaco, Ace of Base, Debbie Allen, Tina Arena, Tony Bennett, Naomi Campbell, Mariah Carey, Helena Christiansen, Artis Ivey (Coolio), Bo Derek, Lucky Dube, Eva Herzigova, Hootie & the Blowfish, Julian Lennon, Alanis Morissette, Diana Ross, Seal, TLC, Shania Twain and many other famous people whom also attended to the ceremony. Michael Jackson was a major part of the ceremony that night. Not only did he perform his "Earth song" (twice, after he was unhappy with the first performance) but joined Diana Ross on stage, collected awards and was a big part of Diana Ross´s performance, just sitting in his chair. Michael was the focus of most of the camera shots on the night. He was up and down onto that stage all night and even sang "I will survive" with an unlikely group at the end of a long night, consisting of Royalty, a Kung Fu Star, and others. The ceremony was directed by Kent Weed and produced by John Martinotti, Melissa Corken, Gary L Pudney, Anthony Eaton, Tisha Fein, Marcor International Productions and Gary L Pudney Company.

On May 15, 1996 Celine Dion appeared during the broadcast of the famous American talk show "The Oprah Winfrey Show", hosted and produced by Oprah Winfrey and aired on Syndication channel in USA. On this special episode from Disney World in Orlando, Florida, USA, Celine performed the song "Because you loved me", specially dedicated to a newlyweds couple on their wedding. Celine also performed "Beauty and the beast" in duet with Peabo Bryson. This show was taped on April 27, 1996 and it was supposed to be broadcast on May 14, 1996.
ANNUAL EVENING AGAINST CYSTIC FIBROSIS
On May 16, 1996 Celine Dion took part at the annual evening against cystic fibrosis, an special benefit event to raise money for the fight against the illness, and organized by the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CCFF) in Canada. Celine arrived accompanied by her husband, Rene Angelil. Celine´s parents, Adhémar Dion and Thérèse Tanguay, also were there.
