BRIT AWARDS
On February 19, 1996 Celine Dion took part at the 16th Brit Awards Ceremony, the biggest annual pop music awards in the United Kingdom, founded by the British Phonographic Industry. The ceremony took place at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London, UK. Celine received an special award. The famous singer, Jon Bon Jovi gave to Celine the award. The gala was host by Chris Evans. Many other artists as Alanis Morissette, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Foo Fighters, Garbage, Paul Weller, Green Day, Mariah Carey, Annie Lennox also took part at the gala.
ON INTERVIEW
On February 21, 1996 Celine Dion appeared on interview during the broadcast of a news TV show on France 2 channel in France. Daniel Bilalian interviewed Celine, at the Journal from the 20:00 hs. Celine spoke of Francophonie, her new album recorded in English and titled "Fallin Into You", her musical family and her voice. Asked about her accent, Celine admited to not understand why it disappears when she sings.
CHANEL FASHION SHOW
On February 24, 1996 Celine Dion attended the Chanel Fashion Show, which took place at the private club, Mar A Lago (owned by Donald Trump) in Palm Beach, Florida, USA. On February 23, 1996 Celine was back in the USA (after been in London, UK), where she did a private concert for Donald Trump. Celine also took part on the fashion show by going on the catwalk, accompanied by other models, wearing a CHANEL dress for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She was accompanied by her manager and husband, Rene Angelil. Celine was interviewed before and after the fashion show, by Angelo Cadet for a segment aired later on Quebec television in Canada. After the show, she was photographed with Tifanny Trump and Marla Trump.

February 28, 1996 Celine Dion and her husband and manager, rene Angelil, took aprt at the pre-Grammy party.
GRAMMY AWARDS
On February 28, 1996 Celine Dion took part at the 38th Grammy Awards Ceremony, which took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, USA. The ceremony was hosted by Ellen DeGeneres. The awards recognized accomplishments by musicians from the previous year. The highest number of nominations in the year, was six nominations to Alanis Morissette and Mariah Carey, each one. Mary J. Blige, Boys II Men, Shirley Caesar, Coolio, D´Angelo, Whitney Houston, Annie Lennox, Joan Osborne, Tony Rich, Shania Twain, Stevie Wonder and many other artists also participated at the ceremony. Celine was accompanied by her husband, Rene Angelil. After the ceremony, Celine was photographed with singer, Brandy.
