COCA-COLA´s CENTENNIAL OLYMPIC CELEBRATION
In July 19, 1996, in the afternoon, Coca-Cola, the anchor sponsor of the Centennial Olympics, needed to host a world-class event for the International Olympic Committee (IOC), dignitaries, and distinguished guests. It was to provide a memorable evening to kick-off the Centennial Olympic Games. Executive Visions Inc. exclusively provided and produced the celebrity entertainment that served as the world premiere of "The power of the dream", the theme song of the Atlanta Olympic Games. Celine Dion and legendary composer and producer, David Foster, inspired world dignitaries gathered performing the song live for the first time, at Coca-Cola´s Centennial Olympic Celebration for the IOC. After the perfomance, Celine was photographed with members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

OLYMPIC GAMES OPENING CEREMONY
On July 19, 1996, at the evening, Celine Dion performed at the opening ceremonies of the 100th Olympic Games at the Centennial Olympic Stadium in Atlanta, USA. This was the event which doubtless crowned Celine´s career. In front of more than 3.5 billion televiewers, Celine performed the hymn of the opening ceremonies titled "The power of the dream", with David Foster on the piano and a huge choir. This eminent honoring to the athletes, written by David Foster, Kenny "Babyface" Edmond and Linda Thompson, quickly becomes the theme song of the Games. Celine had reharsed the day before in front of 85,000 voluntary workers invited for the occasion, then she sang in front of more than 100,000 people around her, in addition to over 3 and a half billion of TV viewers from their homes. Celine said later it was the biggest moment in her career. Celine gave away the money she received for the occasion with a little extra to the Canadian team, to support Canadian athletes. Celine was attracted to the project because of the Games´ international importance and the example Olympic athletes represent. She has said "It is an honour to sing for the world´s athletes". "The sacrifices they made, their dedication and commitment to a single purpose and the hard work they have gone through makes every one of them a hero for having earned the priviledge of being on that field for the Opening Ceremony", Celine has said.
