ANDERSON COOPER 360´S NEW YEAR´S EVE SPECIAL
On January 1, 2005 Celine Dion took part at "Anderson Cooper´s New Year´s Eve Special", wich took place in New York, USA and it was broadcasted on CNN channel. "New Year´s Eve Live", is an annual program-concert broadcast on CNN and CNN International. It airs live from Times Square in New York City. This time, Celine´s appearance, was via satellite from the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA, where she was performing with the highly successful show "A New Day...". Celine first told TV viewers how their hearts are with the people who are suffering in South Asia, then she performed "In some small way" in duet with one of the background vocals: Barnev Valsaint and a wonderful choir on stage. The arrangement of the song is pretty identical to how she did it on Jay Leno. Then, about 35 minutes later, they showed Celine performing the first half of "My heart will go on". And nearly at the end of the show, they also showed about 20 seconds of Celine singing "I´m alive". All perfomances from the show "A New Day...". Celine looked beautiful and sounded incredible.
CONCERT IN LAS VEGAS
On January 7, 2005 Celine Dion perfomed at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA with the highly successful show "A New Day...", created by Franco Dragone. Since this month, the song "Nature boy" was removed from the set list and it was replaced by "A new day has come". Celine opened the show with "A new day has come", wearing a black outfit that she took off after the first song. With the red dress, she continued performing "The power of love", "It´s all coming back to me now", "Because you loved me", "To love you more" and "I´m alive". In "Seduces me", it was like she was seriously about to have a orgasm on stage. When she had her first speaking break, she announced that her mom and one of her brothers were somewhere in the audience and she went on to say how good she was feeling that night. Then, another outfit change came and she performed "I surrender". She was like going crazy on stage during "Love can move mountains", she was like screaming the whole song. In "I drove all night", she did pull her hair out again when she was singing. "If I could" was dedicated it to all the people in Asia and all the victims of the disasters. Celine performed "In some small way", and they played an instrumental of the song "What a wonderful world". Many other songs, also were performed that night.
CANADA FOR ASIA TELETHON
On January 9, 2005 Celine Dion taped her segment for the benefit concert entitled "Canada For Asia", to help the victims of the Tsunami in South Asia. This special concert was broadcasted on CBS channel on January 13, 2005. Celine´s appearance, was taped during a show of "A New Day...", at Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA. Celine performed the song "In some small way" in duet with one of the background vocals: Barnev Valsaint and a choir on stage. Before her perfomance, she talked for a couple minutes about the victims of the Tsunami. Money raised during the 3-hour telethon went to major world humanitarian organizations. The concert aslo featured Tom Cochrane, Rush, Oscar Peterson, Bryan Adams, Jann Arden, Daniel Lanois, Anne Murray, Gord Downie, Molly Johnson and the Barenaked Ladies.

In April, 2005 Celine Dion perfomed at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA with the highly successful show "A New Day...", created by Franco Dragone. On April 13, 2005 was announced that Celine return to the stage of the Colosseum at the Caesars Palace, after a sixteen-day hiatus. Although the performances scheduled for April 13 and 14, 2005 were cancelled, due to a combination of Celine´s allergies and a nose and throat infection. For those who have purchased tickets with a credit card for the cancelled performances, have been automatically refunded. Finally, on April 15, 2005, after cancelling 2 shows, Celine was fine and returned back to the Colosseum to continue performing with "A New day...", together her musicians, dancers and back-up singers. Celine´s next break was scheduled from May 9 to May 17, 2005.
