CONCERT IN LAS VEGAS
On March 18, 2004 Celine Dion performed at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA with the highly successful show "A New Day...", created and directed by Franco Dragone. At this time of the show, Celine already had given more than 30 show with "A New Day..." since January 2004. With a complete different hairstyle, Celine gave an absolute sold out concert where she performed "The first time ever I saw your face", "The power of love", "It´s all coming back to me now", "Because you loved me", "To love you more", "I´m alive", "I drove all night", "Seduces me", "If I could", "Pour que tu m´aimes encore", "I surrender", "Ammore annascunnuto", "My heart will go on" and many other song. Celine dazzled in haute couture fashion while she was performing. Celine continued performing at the Caesars Palace with "A New Day..." the next months with 3 more shows in March, 14 shows in April and more than 90 shows in the rest of the year. On March 20, 2004 Celine dedicated the concert to her mother (that day was her birthday) and at the end, Celine went in the middle of the audience and hugged her mother really warm and tight, saying her a very happy birthday.
CELEBRITY FIGHT NIGHT X
On March 27, 2004 Celine Dion performed at Muhammad Ali´s "Celebrity Fight Night X", an annual charity event-concert benefiting the Mihammad Ali Parkinson Research Centre. The show took place at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa, in Phoenix, USA. Celine performed "Love can move mountains", "Because you loved me", "My heart will go on", "I´m alive" and "I drove all night". Celine and her husband Rene Angelil, were photographed with Muhammad Ali and Lonnie Ali. Actor Kevin Bacon and musician David Foster also were photographed with Celine.
CONCERT IN LAS VEGAS
In May, 2004 Celine Dion performed at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA with the highly successful show "A New Day...", created and directed by Franco Dragone. At this time of the show, this concert itself hasn´t changed that much. Songs and dances were just the same. Celine gave more than 20 shows, only that May.
CONCERT IN QUEBEC
On August 13, 2004, Celine Dion performed at Le Mirage Golf Club in Quebec, Canada at a special charity event-concert. This private function also featured Bob Walsh. Celine performed in duet with Bob Walsh the song "Summertime", "What a wonderful world" and "You are so beautiful". Celine also performed with Guy Bérlanger. A great moment happened when Celine´s son Rene-Charles appeared, in his godmother Linda Dion´s arms, and asked to his mother to sing "I´m alive". The guests stood up to accompany Celine when she performed the song a cappella.
JERRY LEWIS MDA TELETHON
On September 6, 2004 Celine Dion performed at the 39th "Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon", wich was broadcasted in USA on CBS channel at 9:00 hs. p.m. As always, it was hosted by actor and comedian, Jerry Lewis and it is created to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). This year, Celine´s appearance, was via satellite from the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA, where she was performing with the highly successful show "A New Day...". She performed the song "If I could" and just before her wonderful live performance, Celine talked with Jerry Lewis from a big screen. The telethon also featured Jann Carl, Charo, Norm Crosby, Billy Crystal, Cynthia Garrett, Billy Gilman, Josh Groban, Elton John, Larry King, Kimberley Locke, Bill Maher, Ed McMaho, Ray Romano, Jeffrey Tambor, Oprah Winfrey, Bob Zany and many others.
