ON INTERVIEW
On December 17, 2000 Celine Dion appeared on a special interview entitled "Exclusivement Celine", made by famous TV hoster Michel Jasmin and broadcasted on TVA channel in Quebec, Canada. The interview took place on Celine´s house in Jupiter, Florida, USA. Celine talked about the last 6 years, her family, her career, about her first TV appearance in 1981, in Michel Jasmin´s TV show and of course she also talked about to her pregnancy. Celine said she could take up to four years before coming back to show business but said she might record another album in English and in French one year after her son is born. Celine´s husband Rene Angelil appeared for about 5 minutes and started crying when he saw sights of Celine saying "If I´m here it´s because everything is ok" in a concert at the Stade De France in 1999. This interview with Michel Jasmin scored bigtime in the TV ratings. More than 2 million viewers tuned in to watch the program. According to data compiled by Neilsen Media Research, Celine´s interview, dubbed "Exclusivement Celine" attracted an estimated 2,206,000 viewers, making it the evening´s most watched program by a ratio of two-to-one. The broadcast appears to have bolstered the network´s full evening of programming. TVA´s "Cinema Des Fetes" which aired after the interview, came in second, with 1,130,000 viewers, followed by TVA´s "Un Monde De Fous" which aired just before the Celine interview and attracted 1,114,000 viewers. These ratings only apply to the French language viewers.
ON MAGAZINE
On December 23, 2000 Celine Dion appeared, with Michel Jasmin, on the cover of the famous magazine "7 Jours". The magazine published a wrong tittle at the cover for Celine. During her interview with Jasmin, Celine said that, the other frozen and fertilized egg will come as soon as possible, as a twin for her baby. They understood it wrong and published the cover under the titlle "My son has already a twin" ("Mon fils a deja un jumeau" in french). Then, the cover has been reprinted, and under the tittle "Celine opens her heart" ("Céline: à coeur ouvert" in french). Almost 200,000 printed covers had been distroyed. The magazine published few photos taken during Jasmin visit on Celine´s house in Jupiter, Florida, USA (he interviewed her for the TVA channel). On this photo session, Celine was photographed with Jasmin and with her husband Rene Angelil. Of course she was shining her pregnancy.
