BASEBALL GAME
On March 4, 2000 Celine Dion, accompanied by her husband and manager Rene Angelil, attended a baseball game at the Roger Dean Stadium, located in the Abacoa community of the town of Jupiter, Florida, USA. Celine and Rene were guests in the owner´s box at the Expos Grapefruit League opening game against the St. Louis Cardinals. The journalist who took the photos, published them on a magazine. Celine appeared with her new look, a very short and blond hair.
ON TV SHOW
On March 10, 2000 Celine Dion and her husband and manager, Rene Angelil appeared during the broadcast of the French TV show "Vendredi, C´est Julie", hosted by Julie Snyder and aired on France 2 channel in France. Celine and Rene appeared via satellite from their house in Jupiter Island, Florida, USA and they were interviewed by Snyder during the entire episode. Celine showed to the audience her new look, blond and short hair. Celine and Rene also played golf on their pool. At the end of the show, Celine´s mother Thérèse Thanguay, her sister Linda and her husband Alain appeared to say goodbye. Snyder´s new program "Vendredi, C´est Julie" was so terrific, reaching 20% of the French audience, or over 3,5 million of people watching to Celine in front of TV.
NABISCO CELEBRITIES CHAMPIONSHIPS
On March 20, 2000 Celine Dion and her husband Rene Angelil attended to the 29th Nabisco Celebrities´ Championships practice round for LPGA players and the finals for the Toyota/Nabisco $1 Million Hole-in-One Contest and the Celebrity Hole-in-One Contest for Charity. It took place at the Mission Hills Country Club, at the Rancho Mirage in California, USA.
NABISCO CELEBRITIES CHAMPIONSHIPS
On March 22, 2000 Celine Dion and her husband Rene Angelil took part at the 29th Nabisco Celebrities´ Championships, which took place at the Mission Hills Country Club, at the Rancho Mirage in California, USA. The Nabisco Championship, the first major LPGA golf tournament of the year, has announced that global superstar Celine Dion will headline the tournament´s 2000 Celebrity Pro-Am. The Nabisco Championship Celebrity Pro-Am marks one of Celine´s first public appearances since she started her hiatus from active performance at the end of 1999. Michael Bolton, Alice Cooper, Patrick Duffy, Jamie Farr, Glenn Frey, Don Meredith and Tommy Smothers also attended the tournament. After playing, Celine performed 5 songs at the "dinner show" for their special guests. The 2000 championship started on Monday, March 20, with a practice round for LPGA players and the finals for the Toyota/Nabisco $1 Million Hole-in-One Contest and the Celebrity Hole-in-One Contest for Charity. Both events were free and open to the public. Championship play was followed on Thursday, March 23, through Sunday, March 26.
ON INTERVIEW
On March 22, 2000 Celine Dion attended to the 29th Nabisco Celebrities´ Championships, which took place at the Mission Hills Country Club, at the Rancho Mirage in California, USA. After the championship, Celine was interviewed for a segment aired on ABC channel in USA.
ON PARTY
On March 30, 2000 Celine Dion celebrated her 32nd birthday at a private party with family and friends. It took place in Florida, USA.
