ON TV GUIDE
On June 8, 1991 Celine Dion appeared on the cover of the TV guide "TV Hebdo", published in Quebec, Canada.
PRESS CONFERENCE
On June 19, 1991 Celine Dion gave a concert at the Montreal Forum in Montreal, Canada with the "Unison Tour". After the show, Celine held a press conference flanked by the CBS execs. She was their most precious treasure. She spoke of happy things and made the journalists laugh. "I´ve cried enough in my life", she said. "Now, when I´m feeling low, I hold back my tears and make the most of the moment. I savor every bit of happiness". In front of the assembled journalists, CBS-Canada president Paul Burger handed her a tripleplatinum disc symbolizing the "Unison" album´s 300,000 sales in Canada. Donald K. Donald boss Donald Tarlton handed her a gold ticket, attesting to the fact that every show of her Canadian tour was a sellout. Burger suggested that the press keep its eye on Celine. She would soon be doing great things in the USA and elsewhere in the world. When asked, he admitted that "Unison" was his biggest production to date, but that it hadn´t really taken off in the USA, in spite of how well "Where does my heart beat now" was doing. "We really believe in Celine Dion", he said. "And we´ve got plenty of projects for her". He was referring to an upcoming album and to the theme song from Spielberg´s film which they still hoped to do, in spite of Mottola´s opposition.
