On June 12, 2011 on the backstage of a concert at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA Celine Dion met with French producer, Nicole Coullier. She also met with the famous French singer and actor, Johnny Hallyday.
EMMY AWARDS
On June 19, 2011 Celine Dion took part at the 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards Ceremony, wich took place in Las Vegas, USA and it was aired on CBS channel in USA. As part of a special tribute to the famous American syndicated talk show "The Oprah Winfrey Show", Celine appeared via satellite from the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace, where she was performing with the show "Celine", and she sang "Because you loved me" dedicated to Oprah. "I´m honored to be able to participate in this wonderful tribute to my dear friend Oprah", Celine said.
VIDEO MESSAGE
On June 19, 2011 Celine Dion sent a video message to the closing ceremony of the "Le Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie" a charity event to raise funds for the Le Grand Défi, non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage young people to adopt healthy life habits. The event took place at La Ronde, an amusement park in Quebec, Canada. On the video message, Celine addressed the cyclists, volunteers and young winners of 5000 Get up and move contest. Her message is an invitation to all parents of Quebec to make cubes gray matter in November with their children of primary school age. This unique event brings people together with the aim of promoting the adoption of healthy life habits among children aged 6 to 12 years old and, in the process, among their parents.
