CONCERT IN LAS VEGAS
On November 29, 2003 Celine Dion performed at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA with the highly successful show "A New Day...", after 20 shows just in November. This was the night before Celine´s father died. The show was truely amazing that night and Celine was awesome. She performed "Nature boy", "The power of love", "It´s all coming back to me now", "Because you loved me", "To love you more", "I´m alive", "I drove all night", "Seduces me", "If I could", "Pour que tu m´aimes encore", "I surrender", "Ammore annascunnuto" and others. When Celine started to sing "Have you ever been in love", they had some audio trouble, so she stopped singing and asked if the audience minded if they restarted the song. Then she talked to the audience for a few minutes while the musicians fixed the audio problem. Celine didn´t do the flying scene this time. This time she stood to the side and sand as two of the dancers floated through the air. According to Celine, the flying scene was danger for her, so she stopped flying.
CONCERT IN LAS VEGAS
On November 30, 2003 Celine Dion performed at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA with "A New Day...". That night was most emotional than ever because on that day Celine lost her father. Celine´s father, named Adhémar Dion, died in the morning and Celine decided to perform that night. During the show Celine talked about him, she cried and dedicated the entire show for him as an hommage. At the end of the show Celine could not continued singing the song ("What a wonderful world"), but she ended the song the best she could and everybody applauded her with much emotion. It was a very special night. On the DVD "A New Day... Live In Las Vegas" (released on 2007), Celine, her husband Rene Angelil, and her brother Michel Dion talk about that night.
CHRISTMAS DADDIES TELETHON
On December 7, 2003 Celine Dion performed at the "Christmas Daddies Telethon", which was broadcasted in the Canadian Maritimes, Canada on ATV channel. Celine´s appearance, was via satellite from the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA, where she was performing with the highly successful show "A New Day...". She sang the song "Je t´aime encore". Before Celine´s perfomance, they broadcasted a video message sent by Celine, recorded a her dressing room at the Caesars Palace. Special items for this telethon, including an autographed copy of the album "One Heart", went to the highest bidder during a celebrity auction to raise money for underprivileged children.
LES PLUS BELLES VOIX QUÉBÉCOISES SPECIAL
On December 16, 2003 Celine Dion taped, at the Mel´s Studios in Montreal, Canada a the TV special-concert entitled "Les Plus Belles Voix Québécoises", which was broadcasted on December 27 on the French channel France 2 and on December 31 on TVA channel in Canada (this one was entitled "La Soirée Exceptionnelle De La Franchophonie Á Montreal"). This TV special-concert lasted two hours. Garou, Daniel Lavoie, Natasha St-Pier and Marie-Elaine Thirbert also performed at the show. Daniela Lumbroso and Julie Snyder hosted the special. During the concert Celine performed "Tout l´or des hommes", "Je t´aime encore", "Quand on n´a que l´amour" in duet with Mauranne, and "J´irais ou tu iras" in duet with Garou. Celine also was interviewed. The TV special on the French channel France 2 attracted 3,305,840 viewers and getting the 17,4 % share.
CONCERT IN MONTREAL
On December 17, 2003 Celine Dion performed in a special charity concert-event which took place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada to benefit the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of Quebec (Lou Gehrig´s disease). The private fuction also featured Garou and Marc Dupré. This concert-event was organized in support of André Delambre, Vice-President of Finances and Administration for the Productions Feeling Inc. group, and Celine and her husband Rene Angelil´s trusted advisor for the past 25 years. The event raised $ 1,000,000. After the concert, Celine and Rene were photographed with Andre Delambre, Dr Monique D´Amour (neurologist), Garou and Marc Dupré. They also were photographed with all the Dion family.
