KISS 108 FM CONCERT
On June 1, 2002 Celine Dion performed at the Boston-area station "Radio Kiss 108 FM Concert", which took place at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, USA. This annual blowout, was an event that has grown from a schizoid smorgasbord of rock-lite hitmakers into a schizoid smorgasbord of across-the-board superstars. During the show, Celine performed "That´s the way it is", "I´m alive", "A new day has come" and "My heart will go on". Shakira, Mary J. Blige, Goo Goo Dolls, Alicia Keys, LeAnn Rimes, Alanis Morissette, Bon Jovi, Craig David, The Calling, Aaron Carter, Michelle Branch and other artists also performed at the concert.
Z100 ZOOTOPIA CONCERT
On June 2, 2002 Celine Dion performed at the "Zootopia 2002 Concert", organized by the radio station Z100. The concert took place at the Giant Stadium in East Rutherford, USA. Celine was warmly received by Giants Stadium. Her appearance motivated most of the crowd up onto their feet during her performance. She began her min-set with the popular "That´s the way it is". Celine concluded her all too brief moment with "My heart will go on", which generated a huge response from the women in the audience who sang along. Marc Anthony, Mary J. Blige, Bon Jovi, Michelle Branch, Aaron Carter, Nick Carter, Craig David, Vanessa Carlton, P. Diddy, the Goo Goo Dolls, Fat Joe, Alanis Morissette, Outkast, Pink, Shakira and other artists also performed at the concert. With the advancement in sophisticated technology, two huge video screens sandwiched the stage, projecting both music videos and commercial videos during the stage preparation time in between sets of participating artists. "Zootopia 2002" had began as a beautiful Sunday in June 2002. By late evening, things had cooled considerably, and the pleasant breeze later became a chill. The concert coordination was choreographed with a massive rotating stage. Despite a 12:05 A.M finish, the stage crew kept the program moving along, ending with fireworks and confetti.
Y-100 SUMMER SPASH CONCERT
On June 7, 2002 Celine Dion performed at the Kenny & Footy´s "Y-100 Summer Splash Concert", which took place at the National Car Rental Center in Fort Lauderdale, USA. During the concert, Celine performed "That´s the way it is". After the show, Celine was interviewed. Vanessa Carlton, Craig David, Michelle Branch, The Calling, Paulina Rubio and Fabolous, also took part on this concert.
WANGO TANGO CONCERT
On June 15, 2002 Celine Dion performed at the "Wango Tango Concert", oragnized by the radio station KIIS 108 FM. "Wango Tango" is an annual day-long concert produced on by local Los Angeles, USA radio station KIIS FM. The concert series has been staged at various venues around southern California including Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, and also at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This concert took place at the Rose Bowl in Passadena, USA and it was hosted by Jennifer Love Hewitt. During the concert, Celine performed "That´s the way it is", immediately after "A new day has come", "I´m alive" and then "My heart will go on". The audience really liked the performance and Celine has been inundated with applause, especially after the performance of "My heart will go on". Vanessa Carlton, Michelle Branch, O-Town, Craig Davis, India Aire, Marc Anthony, Paulina Rubio, Nick Carter (with Aaron Carter), Kelly Osbourne (with Pure Rubbish), Pink (with Steven Tyler), Alanis Morissette, No Doubt, Will Smith, Ja Rule (with Ashanti) and Mary J. Blige also took part at this concert.
WORLD CHILDREN´S DAY CONCERT
On September 14, 2002 Celine Dion performed at the "Concert for World Children´s Day", which took place at the Arie Crown Theater of the McCormick Place in Chicago, USA. The concert was under the supervision of the famous producer and songwriter David Foster and it was broadcasted on ABC channel in USA on November 14, 2002. Celine performed "That´s the way it is", "My heart will go on", "The prayer" in duet with Josh Groban and "Goodbye´s (the saddest word). For the finale, Celine joined various artists to performed with them "Aren´t they all our children". Yolanda Adams, Michael Bublé, Nick Carter, Peter Cetera, Josh Groban, Enrique Iglesias and Nita Whitaker also performed at the concert. This concert was released on a high quality DVD with the name "The Concert For World Children´s Day" on December 18, 2002.
