CALLAWAY GOLF COMMERCIAL
In 1998 Celine Dion became the spokesperson for Callaway Golf Corporation, an American sporting goods company based in Carlsbad, California, specializing in golf. They manufacture a full range of golf equipment, including woods, irons, wedges, putters and golf balls, and also license the Callaway brand name for apparel, footwear, timepieces and accessories. "She´s a golfaholic" said Larry Dorman, vice president of advertising and public relations for the Carlsbad, Calif.-based golf club maker. Dion met Callaway Golf chairman and founder Ely Callaway during the VH-1 Fairway to Heaven celebrity golf tournament, Dorman said. Cliff Einstein, chairman and chief creative officer of Dailey in West Hollywood, Calif., met with Dion in Paris, France to go over the script, sources said, but she will not be singing in the ad, said Dorman. Einstein could not be reached; other agency executives declined to comment. Callaway has previously enlisted an array of nontraditional golfers, including rockers Alice Cooper and Graham Nash, and most recently billionaire Bill Gates, for its ads. The client´s tagline was: "How golf should feel". "One of the things that makes our advertising interesting is that we use people not associated with golf, but who love the clubs and are passionate golfers", Dorman said. In addition to Dion, Callaway has also tapped restaurateur Nobu Matsuhisa to appear in a commercial. Callaway spends approximately $15 million annually on advertising, according to Competitive Media Reporting.

CANADIAN CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION COMMERCIAL
In May 1993, Celine Dion´s niece named Karine, loses her fight against cystic fibrosis and dies in Celine´s presence. So in August 1993, Celine agrees to expand her role in the CF community, by accepting the position of Celebrity Patron of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In 1998 Dion participates in the Foundation´s national public awareness campaign wich was broadcasted through Quebec, Canada.

VH1 SAVE THE MUSIC COMMERCIAL
In 1998 Celine Dion recorded a TV commercial to help promote the VH1 Save the Music Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in America´s public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child´s complete education. Since 1997, the VH1 Save The Music Foundation has provided $45 million worth of new musical instruments to more than 1,700 public schools in more than 100 cities around the country, impacting the lives of more than 1.4 million public school students.

The commercial was aired during the commercial breaks of the broadcast of the concert, in wich Celine took part, entitled "VH1: Divas Live: An Honors Concert for VH1´s Save the Music", wich took place at the Beacon Theatre in New York, USA on April 14, 1998. On September 28, 2007 the Christmas album "These Are Special Times" was released in Korea, Asia and Europe. For the ocassion, a TV commercial was shown, to help promote the album´s sales.
