UNIVERSAL EXHIBITION
On July 1, 1992 during the Canada´s national holiday, Celine Dion performed at the Universal Exhibition, at the Canadian Pavilion in Seville, Spain, as England´s Queen Elisabeth II ended a two-day visit in Ottawa, Quebec, Canda. The Universal Exposition of Seville (Expo ´92) took place from April 20 to October 12, 1992 on La Isla de La Cartuja (Cartuja Island) in Seville, Spain. The theme for the Expo was "The Age of Discovery" and over 100 countries were represented. The total amount of land used for the Expo was 215 hectares and the total number of visitors was 41,814,571. Although not related, the exposition ran at the same time as Genoa Expo ´92. Celine performed "If you ask me to" and "Carmen".
PRESS CONFERENCE
On July 1, 1992 Celine Dion performed at the Universal Exhibition, at the Canadian Pavilion in Seville, Spain, as England´s Queen Elisabeth II ended a two-day visit in Ottawa, Quebec, Canda. After her performance, Celine gave a press conference. Celine said she would love to learn Spanish and sing songs in Spanish. She said few words in Spanish.
ON TV SHOW
On July 14, 1992 Celine Dion appeared during the broadcast of the famous American late-night talk show "The Tonight Show", hosted by Jay Leno and aired on NBC channel in USA. Celine performed "If you ask me to" and "Nothing broken but my heart", both from the album "Celine Dion". Celine also was interviewed by Leno.
ON FUNERAL
On July 16, 1992 Celine Dion attended to the Richard Sara´s funeral, René Angelil´s cousin, who died on July 13. The funeral took place in Montreal, Canada. For the occasion, Celine performed "My way", a song popularized by singer Frank Sinatra.
