ON TV GUIDE
From March 21-27, 1993 Celine Dion appeared on the cover of the TV guide "Hebdo", published in Quebec, Canada.
ACADEMY AWARDS
On March 29, 1992 Celine Dion attended the 64th Academy Awards Ceremony, wich took place at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, USA. The show was the third consecutive to be hosted by Billy Crystal. That year´s ceremony made Academy Award History as the film "Beauty And The Beast" was nominated for Best Picture, the first time an Animated Feature Film was bestowed with such honor. The Picture garnered a total of six nominations in four different categories, eventually collecting two awards for its Music (Best Original Score and Original Song for "Beauty and the beast"). All the Dion family was there. They had all come from Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada to witness their little´s coronation. Quebec too was watching, across the American continent, in front of their TV screens. That was the first time a Quebec artist had participated in the Academy Awards. The fairy tale was complete when the song "Beauty and the beast" won the Oscar. Celine also performed that song in duet with Paebo Bryson. At the Governors Ball, Celine met with singer Bryan Adams. The ceremony was broadcasted live on ABC channel in USA.
IN DORVAL
On March 30, 1992 Celine Dion, on her birthday, returned to Quebec, Canada after won the Oscar at the 64th Academy Awards Ceremony, held in Los Angeles, USA the day before. Celine arrived to the Montréal-Dorval International Airport in Dorval, near Montreal, Quebec, Canada. There, she was received by many fans, press and media. She was interviewed for the CKLM-FM radio.
PRESS CONFERENCE

After been interview by the media, Celine gave a press conference in Montreal, Canada. She talked about her new album "Celine Dion" and about the 64th Academy Awards Ceremony. Celine was accompanied by her manager Rene Angelil and Vito Luprano. Celine also was suprised with a huge banner with a "Bonne fête Céline" (meaning "Happy birthday Celine" and a cake. Her family also was there. Celine was photographed with her mother Thérèse Tanguay, and one of her brothers.
ON TV SHOW
On March 31, 1992 Celine Dion took part at the famous American late-night talk show "The Tonight Show", hosted by Jay Leno and broadcasted on NBC channel in USA. Celine launched the album "Celine Dion" that day at the TV show. Celine was welcomed like a major star. Jay Leno introduced her with the slogan "Remember the name because you´ll never forget the voice". In very little time, after being seen by a billion people on TV, she had become a recognized figure in the American music world. She was interviewed by Leno and she also performed "If you ask me too" and "Beauty and the beast", both from the new album entitled "Celine Dion". Celine also talked about her appearance at the 64th Academy Awards Ceremony and how she felt when she won the Oscar.
ON MAGAZINE
In March 1992 Celine Dion appeared on the cover of the magazine "Filles". They published an exclusive interview with Celine and some cool photos taken by photographer, Rodolf Noël.
