VIDEO MESSAGE
On February 1, 2001 Celine Dion (who was pregnant) along with her manager and husband Rene Angelil appeared during a video message shown during a press conference concerning the construction of a new theatre by Franco Dragone, manager of Cirque du Soleil, the famous theatre of Las Vegas, USA. During the conference they have shown a video (recorded four days before the birth of Celine´s son, Rene-Charles) with Celine and Rene´s greeting message for the company.
INTRODUCING RENE-CHARLES
In early February 2001, Celine Dion and her husband Rene Angelil officially introduced their first son Rene Charles to the world, with a series of pictures shot in their house in Jupiter, Florida, USA. The papparazzi photographed Celine with her baby and with her husband in differents part of the house. Celine´s stepdaughter Anne-Marie Angelil, her sister Linda Dion and her husband Alain (they are Rene Charles ´s godfathers) and Celine´s parents Thérèse and Adhémar also were there and they also were photographed. The pictures were published by the famous magazine "Hello" on March 6, 2001. Another pictures were published by "People" magazine on March 19, 2001 and by "7 Jours" magazine on March 17, 2001. There were rumours talking about the price that Celine and Rene got for the first baby Rene´s pictures in exclusivity saying that they´ve got US 2 million dollars. They were also saying that all it´s amount will be donated to charities.
PHOTO SESSION
On February 12, 2001 the famous baby photographer Anne Geddes, organized a special photo session at Celine Dion´s house in Jupiter, Florida, USA to photograph her with her baby Rene Charles. Celine´s husband Rene Angelil also participated on the photo session.
