On April 9, 1997 Celine Dion and her husband, Rene Angelil, took part to the gala titled "An Evening For Special Children Benefit", raising money for kids. On April 13,1997 Celine Dion appeared during the broadcast of the Japanese music show "MusicFair". She performed the song "To love you more", in wich she was accompanied by the Japanese violinist, Taro Hakase. At this time, Celine was in Japan promoting the album "Falling Into You" with the "Falling Into You Tour.

Ace of Base, The Bee Gees, Halle Berry, Jon Bon Jovi, Los del Río, Gloria Estefan, Roberta Flack, The Fugees, Kenny G, Julio Iglesias, Vanessa Mae and many other artists also took part at the ceremony.
