JUNO AWARDS
On March 9, 1997 Celine Dion attended to the 26th Annual Juno Awards Ceremony, representing Canadian music industry achievements of the previous year, which took place at the Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Nominations were announced on January 29, 1997. Major winners were Celine Dion and The Tragically Hip. Celine, accompanied by the famous music producer David Foster, received awards for Best Selling Album (Foreign or Domestic) for "Falling Into You", Best Selling Francophone Album for "Live A Paris" and Female Vocalist Of The Year. She also received the inaugural International Achievement Award, sharing the honour with Shania Twain and Alanis Morissette. The nominations for Celine were: Single Of The Year ( for "Because you loved me"), Album Of The Year (for "Falling Into You"), Female Vocalist Of The Year, Best Selling Album (for "Falling Into You") and Best Selling Francophone Album (for "Live A Paris"). During the ceremony, Celine performed the song "To love you more", in wich she was accompanied by Japanese violinist, Taro Hakase. The ceremony was broadcast on CBC channel in Canada.

On March 18, 1997 Gissa Guimaráes interviewed Celine Dion at the Orlando Arena in Orlando, Florida, USA few minutes before a concert, part of the "Falling Into You Tour". The interview was broadcasted on Francophone countries.
ON TV SHOW
On March 21, 1997 Celine Dion appeared during the broadcast of the famous American syndicated talk show "The Oprah Winfrey Show", hosted by Oprah Winfrey and aired on Syndication channel in USA. Celine opened the show with the song "Because you loved me" and then she was interviewed. Then, she performed a medley with the songs: "The power of love", "Where does my heart beat now" and "If you ask me to". Celine received a very emotional surprise: her parents and all her brothers and sisters appeared at the show. With her family, Celine performed the song "Ce n´était qu´un rêve". Celine also performed the song "Fly", wich she dedicated to her niece, Karine and her mother Liette (Celine´s sister). At the end of the show, the whole family with Celine performed the song "Les cloches du hameau". After the show, Celine, her husband, Rene Angelil, Oprah Winfrey and the Dion family were photographed all together.

The Awards were noted for their high ratings and the 11 wins obtained by the Best Picture "Titanic". The ceremony was hosted by Billy Crystal. Celine arrived to the red carpet accompanied with her husband, Rene Angelil, and there she met with actress, Courtney Love. Celine took a couture fashion plunge with a V-neck dress in stones of silver, pewter and white. This house of Chanel creation was accessorized with a platinum and diamond comet necklace. During the ceremony, the singer Jennifer Lopez introduced Celine, who performed the song "Because you loved me". Celine also performed the Barbra Streisand´s song "I finally found someone". Lauren Bacall, David Bacon, Angela Bassett, Mark Berger, Juliette Binoche, Brenda Blethyn, Kenneth Branagh, Sandra Bullock, Nicolas Cage, Jim Carrey, Glenn Close, Ethan Coen, Joel Coen, Claudette Colbert and many other artists also took part at the ceremony, wich was aired live on ABC channel in USA.
ON MEETING
On March 26, 1997 Celine Dion met with American vocalist and session artist, Warren Wiebe at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, USA.
