CONCERT IN PARIS
On November 25, 2013 Celine Dion performed at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France in front of about 17,000 people with the "Sans Attendre Tour" (also known as "Tournée Européene 2013"). This was the first of seven consecutive concerts at the Palais Omnisports with this tour. This concert was very similar to those in Antwerp, Belgium (November 21 and 22, 2013) with same outfits, although with some changes on the setlist. The songs "Regarde-moi" and "Ziggy" were added to the setlist. Celine performed acapella a fragment of "Je ne vous oublie pas", before open the show with "Dans un autre monde". Then she sang "Parler à mon père", a medley with "It´s all coming back to me now" and "The power of love", "On ne change pas", "Destin", "Immensité", "Qui peut vivre sans amour?" and "Je crois toi". After an interlude with the band and a costume change, Celine came back to the stage to perform "La mer et l´enfant", "Celle qui m´a tout appris", "Where does my heart beat now", "Terre", "Tout l´or des hommes" and "Regarde-moi". After another interlude and another costume change, Celine appeared on the stage and she performed her new single "Loved me back to life", "Water and a flame" and "Je sais pas". On November 21 and 22, 2013 in Antwerp, "Je sais pas" was performed earlier the in show, before "Loved me back to life". Celine also performed "Un garçon pas comme les autres (Ziggy)", "S´il suffisait d´aimer", "All by myself", "J´irai où tu iras" in duet with bassist Marc Langis and a medley with "Love can move mountains" and "River deep, mountain high". After another costume change, Celine performed "My heart will go on" and "Pour que tu m´aimes encore". CONCERT IN PARIS
On November 26, 2013 Celine Dion performed at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France in front of about 17,000 people with the "Sans Attendre Tour" (also known as "Tournée Européene 2013"). This was the second of seven consecutive concerts at the Palais Omnisports with this tour. It was the same show to that on November 25, 2013, except for some changes in the order of the setlist. On this show, "Un garçon pas comme les autres (Ziggy)" was performed before "Terre", and "Je sais pas" was performed before "Loved me back to life" (as it was during the Antwerp shows on November 21 and 22, 2013). On this night, and according to some fanatics whom attended the concert, the room, the stage was still pitch black when Celine´s voice was heard singing "Je ne vous oublie pas" acappella. When the lights came on, the audience discovered Celine on the top of the steps that make up a part of the decor. The rest is a series of giant screens lining the bottom and sides of the stage. Nothing extravagant, but it is extremely effective, especially when projected videos are associated with extremely flashy play of light and sophisticated as is the case here. No time to rest after a quick "Bonsoir tout le monde", she went on with "Dans un autre monde", one of the most dynamic of the French repertoire songs. Celine was perched on high heels and carried a gigantic black capris with a matching sequined jacket of the same color. She looked very pretty and it suited her admirably. The atmosphere was great at the beginning of the concert and then the audience have already emphasized that the voice was perfect. The audience cheered when started "Parler à mon père", her last French success to date. Then, she went on a medley with "It´s all coming back to me now" and "The power of love", which would, a priori, full playback. What follows is a little speech before "On ne change pas". "I can´t believe it´s been five years. It was five years ago, Eddy and Nelson were only a dream. They are now very real, alive. Rene-Charles is almost a man, oh my God!", said Celine in French to her audience. Then, spectators awake the first notes of "Destin". Then she performed "Immensité", a real surprise to be able to listen live and even if it does not happen much on stage, for many in the audience this was one of the highlights of the show. Then she moved on to one of her French single "Qui peut vivre sans amour?" which, like other titles of the concert, deserved a more powerful orchestration. Then, Celine went backstage after singing "Je crois toi", after which is released a video interlude with footage of her private life, her children. When she is back on stage for "La mer et l´enfant" and "Celle qui m´a tout appris", she wears a new outfit, a white suite with a long tail on the shoulder. Celine connected those songs with one of her first songs in English, "Where does my heart beat now", lip-synching, except the end. Then "Un garçon pas comme les autres (Ziggy)", which also brings the audience back to her early career. Celine also performed "Terre" with stunning video projections, visually, the whole is very effective, it imposes. The concert continued with "Tout l´or des hommes" in which the room reacts really well. It excites a little more when the first notes of "Regarde-moi" resonate at the Palais Omnisports. "Let me hear you, let´s GO!" said Celine in French. There was a genuine standing ovation that awaited at the end of that song. Celine finished this part of the show with "Je sais pas" before returning backstage and let her backing singers occupy the space while she changes the costume. Celine returned to the stage with one of her latest singles in English, "Loved me back to life". Celine was dressed with a short dress set pattern shiny beads. What followed was "Water and a flame", also from her new album. When she sang the first notes of "S´il suffisait d´aimer", viewers were hanging from her lips. This is one of her most legendary French songs, and probably one of the favorite of the audience. The tension escalated when she started to sing "All by myself", in which everyone expects the high note. The audience stood up for "J´irai où tu iras" which she sang in duet with her bassist, Marc Langis. This is the song that made everyone agree. Then she went on a medley with the songs "Love can move mountains" and "River deep, mountain high". Again, the atmosphere was at its height. The play of lights are dynamic and stick perfectly to the energy that exists in the room. The fans in the front rows in the band were mounted standing on chairs. After a short pause, Celine returned to the stage dressed in a gorgeous white sequined dress for the song that everyone expects, "My heart will go on". The concert ended with another classic in his repertoire, "Pour que tu m´aimes encore". Then Celine greeted all her musicians and thanked the audience for the evening. They went behind the scenes and Celine returned to the stage to finish what she started at the beginning of the show. She sang few lines of "Je ne vous oublie pas" acappella. Vincent Niclo did the opening act.
CONCERT IN PARIS
On November 29, 2013 Celine Dion performed at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France in front of about 17,000 people with the "Sans Attendre Tour" (also known as "Tournée Européene 2013"). This was the third of seven consecutive concerts at the Palais Omnisports with this tour. It was the same show to that on November 25, 2013 (setlist and costumes). There were only some changes on the order of the costume changes. So on this night, Celine performed all the second part of the concert, including "Loved me back to life" and "Water and a flame", dressed with the white suite with a long tail on the shoulder (during the past concerts, Celine performed "Loved me back to life" dressed with the short dress set pattern shiny beads). On this show, Celine performed acapella a fragment of "Je ne vous oublie pas", "Dans un autre monde", "Parler à mon père", a medley with "It´s all coming back to me now" and "The power of love", "On ne change pas", "Destin", "Immensité", "Qui peut vivre sans amour?", "Je crois toi", "La mer et l´enfant", "Celle qui m´a tout appris", "Where does my heart beat now", "Terre", "Tout l´or des hommes", "Regarde-moi", "Loved me back to life", "Water and a flame", "Je sais pas", "Un garçon pas comme les autres (Ziggy)", "S´il suffisait d´aimer", "All by myself", "J´irai où tu iras" in duet with bassist Marc Langis, a medley with "Love can move mountains" and "River deep, mountain high", "My heart will go on" and "Pour que tu m´aimes encore". After parting the crowd with his band, Celine performed again an acapella fragment of "Je ne vous oublie pas". According to some whom attended this concert, it was amazing. Celine sounded and looked amazing. Most of them loved the adding of trompette, trombone and saxophone in the band, which it gives something much better in every song. And the musical solos on "Je sais pas" and "Je crois toi" were amazing too, it gave something magical to the show. A major progress. According to a fanatic, the crowd was so passionate at this night. It was actually quite emotional and a big joy. Vincent Niclo did the opening act.
CONCERT IN PARIS
On November 30, 2013 Celine Dion performed at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France in front of about 17,000 people with the "Sans Attendre Tour" (also known as "Tournée Européene 2013"). This was the fourth of seven consecutive concerts at the Palais Omnisports with this tour. It was similar to the past concerts at the Palais Omnisports with this tour, but since this one, "Un garçon pas comme les autres (Ziggy)" and "S´il suffisait d´aimer" were performed earlier in the show, in between "Water and a flame" and "Je sais pas". This meant that Celine started the next segment of the show with "All by myself" dressed with the short dress set pattern shiny beads. Celine performed acapella a fragment of "Je ne vous oublie pas", "Dans un autre monde", "Parler à mon père", a medley with "It´s all coming back to me now" and "The power of love", "On ne change pas", "Destin", "Immensité", "Qui peut vivre sans amour?", "Je crois toi", "La mer et l´enfant", "Celle qui m´a tout appris", "Where does my heart beat now", "Terre", "Tout l´or des hommes", "Regarde-moi", "Loved me back to life", "Water and a flame", "Un garçon pas comme les autres (Ziggy)", "S´il suffisait d´aimer", "Je sais pas", "All by myself", "J´irai où tu iras" in duet with bassist Marc Langis, a medley with "Love can move mountains" and "River deep, mountain high", "My heart will go on" and "Pour que tu m´aimes encore". After parting the crowd with his band, Celine performed again an acapella fragment of "Je ne vous oublie pas". On this show, there were some technical problems during "My heart will go on". It was due to a technical problem with the video screens, when anything went through the "mic" input it was all digital distortion, Celine does start to sing it live (shown by her signalling to musical Director and keyboardist Claude "Mego" Lemay to not stop) but couldn´t "stop" as the pre-recorded track was still playing, even though it was all distorted. They stopped before the second verse and restarted. The audience enjoyed the song but without the background video screens. Vincent Niclo did the opening act.
