CONCERT IN LAS VEGAS
On March 16, 2013 Celine Dion performed at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA with her second residency show, "Celine". It was the last concert before Celine go on vacations. According to some fans whom attended the show, Celine was in really good shape, specially her voice. The audience was pretty good too. There was something special about this show. Before the show start, someone´s voice was saying they gonna show a special video about the 10th anniversary of the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace. So the video showed all the residency singers, starting with Celine. During a video message, shown on a big screen, Celine said "I´d like to say a very Happy 10th Birthday to the team at the Colosseum, and more than this, I want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication, whether they´ve been there for the entire 10 years, or they´ve joined along the way. It´s a great place for an artist to call home and this is because of the great teams that we have at Caesars, as well as my musicians and our team at CDA. Last but not least, I want to thank the fans for coming to see our show over the years. They make it all happen". It´s difficult to believe that 10 years ago on this March 2013, Celine opened the Colosseum at the Caesars Palace to premiere her first Las Vegas residency show, "A New Day...". The doors were unlocked on March 25, 2003, opening night when Celine lost her shoes at one point and had to go onstage barefoot to sing. On this concert of March 16, 2013 and after the video message, they showed the usual opening (intro video) and then the curtain were opened to show Celine on stage. She received a standing ovation. Celine performed "Open arms", "Where does my heart beat now", "Because you loved me", "It´s all coming back to me now", "The power of love", "(If you can´t sing it) You´ll have to swing it (Mr. Paganini)", "Lullabye (Goodnight, my angel)", "The reason", the James Bond medley with "Goldfinger", "Nobody does it better" and "Live and let die". She also performed "How do you keep the music playing?" (duet with a hologram version of Celine) and "Overjoyed" (duet with a hologram version of Stevie Wonder). Then came "At seventeen", "Beauty and the beast" (duet with Barnev Valsaint), "Ne me quitte pas", "All by myself", "Rolling in the deep", "Love can move mountains" and "River deep, mountain high". During the last number (the waterfalls while Celine sings "My heart will go on") the background was also now a waterfall on the big screen, making it a lot more powerful.

On June 8, 2013 Celine Dion performed at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA with her second residency show, "Celine".
CÉLINE... UNE SEULE FOIS
On July 27, 2013 Celine Dion performed for one night only in front of 42,495 spectators in Quebec City, Canada at the Plains of Abraham. The concert was named as "Céline... Une Seule Fois" meaning "Celine... Only Once". "Céline... Une Seule Fois" marked Celine´s second official concert outside of Las Vegas, USA since her second residency show "Celine" began in March 2011; the first was in 2012 at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival. This concert also marked her second show on the Plains of Abraham, the first being "Céline Sur Les Plaines" in 2008, celebrating Quebec´s 400th Anniversary. Unlike the 2008 show, there were no special guests, meaning the show focused on Celine and her repertoire. It was also been reported that the show would feature a setlist that is 80% French and 20% English (a ratio not seen since the "D´eux Tour"), with songs from "Incognito" (1987) through to "Sans Attendre" (2012). On May 24, 2013, the setlist for the show was revealed. The setlist included six new songs from the album "Sans Attendre", as well as six songs that had not been performed since either the "Millennium Concert" or the "Let´s Talk About Love Tour" in 1999. The rest of the setlist featured the same French songs previously performed in the 2008-2009 "Taking Chances Tour", as well as English selections from Celine´s Las Vegas show, "Celine". Despite the reports claiming the setlist would cover Celine´s entire French career, there were no songs from the albums "1 Fille & 4 Types" or "D´elles". New recordings included on the 2005 greatest hits compilation, "On Ne Change Pas", were also not included, meaning there would be no material from the decade 2000-2009. At a press conference before the show, it was said that the European concerts in November 2013 would feature a similar setlist to "Céline... Une Seule Fois". The actual setlist performed differed slightly to the one published before the event. "Ce n´était qu´un rêve" was performed acapella as an introduction, and the title track from Celine´s upcoming English album, "Loved Me Back To Life", was also added at the end of the show. The song "Bozo" was also performed, and "J´irai où tu iras", duet with Jean-Marc Couture, was performed after this, earlier than initially planned. The songs "Regarde-moi", "Rolling in the deep" and "The prayer" were not performed. Celine performed "Ce n´était qu´un rêve" (acapella as an introduction); "Dans un autre monde"; "Parler à mon père"; a medley with "It´s all coming back to me now" and "The power of love"; "On ne change pas"; "Destin"; "Qui peut vivre sans amour?"; "Je crois toi"; "La mer et l´enfant"; "Celle qui m´a tout appris"; "Terre"; "J´irai où tu iras" duet with Jean-Marc Couture; "Bozo"; "Je n´ai pas besoin d´amour"; "S´il suffisait d´aimer"; "L´amour existe encore"; "All by myself"; "Je sais pas"; a medley with "Je danse dans ma tête"; "Des mots qui sonnent" and "Incognito"; a medley with "Love can move mountains" and "River deep, mountain high"; "My heart will go on"; "Pour que tu m´aimes encore"; "Loved me back to life" and "Le miracle". Jean-Marc Couture, the "Star Académie" 2012 winner, who has just released his first album, was the opening act for "Céline… Une Seule Fois". The artist was accompanied by special guests: Valérie Carpentier, winner of the first season of "La Voix", Andrée-Anne Leclerc and Melissa Bedard, "Star Académie" 2012 finalists and Wilfred Le Bouthillier, Acadian and winner of "Star Academy" in 2003, as Jean-Marc. According to some media, it took 10,000 hours to install the gigantic stage for "Céline… Une Seule Fois". Measuring 224ft (68m) long by 86ft (26m) wide stage and weighing 300,000 pounds (136 tons), it was the largest stage in Canada. In an interview, Celine´s stylist Annie Horth shared that since this was a summer show, she and Celine decided to create a "rock" look for Celine with a good dose of glamour. Celine and Annie selected four different outfits from four different designers for Celine to wear during the concert. They chose creations by Balmain, Atelier Versace, Elie Saab and for the first time, a creation by French designer Alexandre Vauthier. "Celine.. Une Seule Fois" was recorded professionally by Celine´s recording company and was shown on Quebec Pay-To-View channels from August 10, 2013. The promoter of the concert, SISMYK (division of QuébéComm), owns the worldwide television rights to the show. They were working on releasing it in various countries around the world.
