ON MEETING
In early February Celine Dion met with some fans at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA on the backstage of her show, "Celine".
ON REHEARSALS
On February 8, 2013 Celine Dion arrived to Beijing, China to take part on the CCTV "Spring Festival Gala", to celebrate Chinese New Year. She rehearsed the song "My heart will go on". Celine wore a creation from Dolce & Gabbana.
ON INTERVIEW
On February 9, 2013 Celine Dion appeared on interview during a segment aired on CCTV channel in China before the broadcast of the "Spring Festival Gala", a television special celebrating the Chinese New Year, in wich Celine has took part. On this interview, made by Dong Quian, Celine explained how she mastered Mandarin for the duet song "Jasmine flower" ("Mo li hua") with Chinese soprano Song Zuying by rehearsing at her Las Vegas studios. "I had wonderful people in the studio with me, helping me to understand the meaning of the song", said Celine. "But even in between the lines of what you sing, you have to feel the music. You have to feel the passion. It´s very difficult to pinpoint passion. It´s very difficult to pinpoint emotion. That is something that is around us, and I think that lifts the music", she said. Celine also said "it was a wonderful, big honour when I was asked to come here to China and to perform for the New Year´s Eve. I know it´s a very, very important celebration".
CCTV SPRING FESTIVAL GALA
On February 9, 2013 Celine Dion took part on the "Spring Festival Gala", a television special celebrating the Chinese New Year, wich took place in Beijing, China and it was aired on CCTV channel in China. Celine performed a traditional folk song (in Mandarin) entitled "Jasmine flower" ("Mo li hua") with Chinese soprano Song Zuying after a massive fireworks display lit up the Beijing skyline. Song Zuying begins the song before Celine sings her portion of the song. The two then approach each other on the stage as numerous female dancers dressed in green are shown behind them. After that, Celine sang her monster "Titanic" hit "My heart will go on" in English and rounded by a beautiful waterfall, a similar number as she made on the performance of the song on her Vegas residency show, "Celine". Celine wore a creation from Dolce & Gabban. The CCTV gala ran for four hours and featured comedy sketches and ballet. A rival channel was staging a separate broadcast that featured South Korean rapper Psy, doing his "Gangnam style" dance.

On February 26, 2013 Celine Dion met Bob Harper, a famous american personal trainer, on backstage of her residency show "Celine" at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace, in Las Vegas, USA. This night marked the return of Celine onstage after a few weeks of vacation. Celine wore a creation by Lanvin.

In February 2013, Celine Dion graces the February cover of the Spanish-language magazine, "In Vegas", which takes a look at Celine´s career from her early days to her current Las Vegas residency show, "Celine".
CINE GOLDEN EAGLE
On February 26, 2013, just before her 836th performance at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA, AEG Live´s John Nelson, John Meglen and HC Rowe present Celine Dion with The Foundation For A Better Life´s Cine Golden Eagle award for performing her hit song "Because you loved me" in a public service announcement promoting gratitude. The Foundation creates public service campaigns to communicate values such as honesty, caring, optimism, hard work, and helping others; viewers are encouraged to pass on these values, with the rationale that examples of individuals living values-based lives may not change the world, but collectively they make a difference. Celine wore a Lanvin printed cotton silk duchess dress.
