ON MEETING
On October 6, 2008 Celine Dion met with the famous American illusionist, stunt performer, musician, and actor, Criss Angel on the backstage of his show "Believe" at the Luxor in Las Vegas, USA during a break from the North American leg of the "Taking Chances Tour". Celine was photographed with Serge Denoncourt (director of the show "Believe"), her son Rene Charles, her husband Rene Angeli, Franco Dragone and Criss Angel. “Between his magic, the amazing dancers, the great lighting and creativity, the show is very entertaining”, Celine said.
ON REHEARSALS
On October 14, 2008 Celine Dion was vocalising on backstage before a concert with the "Taking Chances Tour" at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, USA.
VIDEO MESSAGE
On October 17, 2008 Celine Dion appeared on a video message during the broadcast of the famous French reality television show "Star Academy", hosted by Nikos Aliagas and aired on TF1 channel in France. Celine sent an special video mesage for one of the contestants of the TV show named Solène. Celine invited Solène to see her concert at the General Motors Place in Vancouver, Canada with the "Taking Chances Tour".
ON MEETING
On October 20, 2008 Celine Dion met with a fan named Solène, one of the contestants of the famous French TV show "Star Academy", on backstage before a concert with the "Taking Chances Tour" at the General Motors Place in Vancouver, Canada. Celine talked with Solène and she also signed one of her albums for Solène. Footage from this meeting was broadcasted later during one of the episodes of the TV show "Star Academy" on TF1 channel in France.
ON TV SHOW
On October 26, 2008 Celine Dion appeared during the broadcast of the TV show "Happy Day" aired on SF1 channel in Switzerland. They broadcasted footage from the meeting of Celine with a fan named Dario Baltensperger at the Stade de Genève in Geneva on July 9, 2008 during the backstage before a concert with the "Taking Chances Tour". The Swiss television SF1 made the impossible possible and arranged a surprising meeting for family Baltensperger with Celine. Last July they had an exclusive look behind the scenes at the fantastic concert in Geneva and a meeting with Celine. Unfortunately, the background to this beautiful Meet'n Greet is a very sad one. The family was worse treated by life. Dario, the nine-year-old son, fell ill with eight months of the serious lung disease tuberculosis and would almost suffocated and died. When Dario was five years old, his mother Armella fell ill with cancer. The family had cope many hard times. Nevertheless family Baltensperger did not get discouraged. Together, they have made it through. The whole family is a fan of Celine and the Swiss TV program "Happy Day" wanted to organize a special meeting between them and the superstar. With success. Celine has welcome the family very warm and Dario even got an autograph, including a kiss on his arm.

On October 28, 2008 Celine Dion met with her superfan named Ramona on backstage before a concert with the "Taking Chances Tour" at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Canada.
ON TV SHOW
On October 28, 2008 Celine Dion appeared during the broadcast of the famous American talk show "The Oprah Winfrey Show", hosted and produced by its namesake Oprah Winfrey and aired on Syndicated channel in USA. The special episode, entitled "Miracle children with Celine Dion" is dedicated to the "12 héros parmi nous" project, in wich Celine took part. During the show, Celine talked with oprah about this project created by UNICEF wich features 12 children with diferent diseases. "It´s an amazing project because you can read and learn about those miracles and heroes, babies, children, you can learn about those stories, and all the proceeds go for needy children and sick children", she said. "It was a blessing". Some of the children from the project took part at this episode, as a little girl from Perú, named Milagros, who appeared at the show accompanied by Celine. Another child shared his story, as a victim of the hurricane Katrina in 2005. At the end of the show, Celine performed the song "My love" as part of the promotion for the album "My Love: Essential Collection". This episode was taped on October 1, 2008 in Chicago, USA at the Harpo Studios.
