CHARLEMAGNE HOUSE
When Celine Dion was just a little girl, they parents Adhémar Dion and Thérèse Tanguay managed a piano bar called "Le Vieux Baril" ("The Old Barrel" in englih) where the members of the family performed forming a group called "A Dion et son ensemble". They also lived there. This bar is located in Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada and it´s where Celine started singing.

Originally the house was property of Euclide Martel. Then, the house was sold several times before been bought by Adhérman Dion (Celine´s father) in 1962. The house is located at 130 Notre-Dame street in the town. In 1982 Adhérman Dion sold the house.

After a lot of years the house became in a shop, that´s why it´s located at a commercial zone of Charlemagne. In the entrance of the house there is a photo of it, from 1968 when Celine lived there. Also the history of the house is explained.

LES LAURENTIDES HOUSE
In 1988 Celine Dion bought a luxurious house located in Les Laurentides, Quebec, Canada. The house originally was property of Dominique Michel. Celine lived on this house for only a little more than five years. After, Celine sold the house. A picture of this house was published by a magazine on December 1994.

ROSEMÈRE HOUSE
In 1996 Celine Dion and her husband Rene Angelil bought a house situated in Rosemère, an off-island suburb of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada. On this house lived Celine´s parents since 1996 to 2000 when Celine moved to her new house in Laval, and bought to her mother Thérèse Tanguay a new house near of her, situated also in Laval, Canada.

This is a four-bedroom house with a beautiful green garden in the entrance. During an interview with Larry King aired on March 26, 2002, Celine told she was in Rosemere, near Montreal, Canada when she found out from the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

JUPITER HOUSE
During the 90s Celine Dion and her husband Rene Angelil lived in a house situated in Jupiter, Florida, USA. The house is a Mediterranean-style home in Jupiter's Admirals Cove area with 15,000-square-foot, with a luxurious custom-built. In 2002 Celine sold this house. Jupiter is a town located in Palm Beach County, Florida, USA.

The home, built around 1998 by Celine and her husband Rene Angelil, boasts some 15,000 square feet of air-conditioned space as well as landscaped gardens and a pool. The Florida property is located in a gated community called Admiral´s Cove, which features golf courses and a marina with slips for boats up to 130 feet long, and where massive mansions are dotted amid manicured lawns. Details of this house included sound-proofing in the master bedroom, so a buyer could try hitting the high notes without bothering the neighbours. When Celine was on tour, the house was maintained by her sister Linda Dion. When Celine´s son Rene Charles was born, his first photos were taken on this house.

This entirely custom, fully furnished waterfront estate enjoys beautiful expansive views and impeccable architectural details throughout. In 2002 Celine sold her palatial Florida home with furniture and other contents, including china, linens, wine, and art work, for $16 million. The house was sold for $9 million. Celine would have wanted $20 million, including furnishings and art, for the 15,000-square-foot, custom-built, Mediterranean-style home in Jupiter´s Admirals Cove area, the Palm Beach Post reported. Well, the property was sold to NetJets Inc. founder Richard Santulli for $9 million, and sold the furnishings separately to Santulli for $7 million. Selling furnishings separately lowers property taxes, which are largely based on sale prices, and reduces transfer taxes.

LA LOUVIÈRE HOUSE
In 2002 Celine Dion passed a few months in La Louvière, Belgium, where she prepared the Las Vegas show "A New Day…". For this reason the couple Dion-Angelil moved to a new house. Franco Dragone, the show producer, is Belgium, and because of that Celine decided make the rehearsals of her show in this European country. When the show in Las Vegas started, Celine and her family left this house and they moved to a new house in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

It is in La Louvière (Belgium, 30 miles south of Brussels), on June 24, 2002, that the rehearsals of the show start in fitted out studios by the company Dragone, first with 60 artists. Celine comes on October 17, 2002 and the rehearsals go on until November 15, 2002. "It is true that in La Louvière, tells Dragone, we have handicaps which we would not have somewhere else, in terms of activities and hotel infrastructures. Nevertheless, this allows to the artists to concentrate on the show. They have nothing to distract themselves, and it generates a certain introspective quality". As for Celine : "What I want it is to be with Franco, with the team, she says. I would have followed him wherever, even up to Mouk Mouk islands". "La Louvière is going to offer me a present, is going to give me the chance to rediscover me myself", Celine says. "For the first time in my career, I am going to be able to take time, surrounded well, to exclusively dedicate me to the show. I long to go there, to work there, to live there, with my family. It is a new experience. I attach it a big importance". "The house to Bousval (22 miles southeast of Brussels) is magnificent, my family likes it. We have a swimming pool, it is the big luxury. From our arrival, my son hurried to run through the house. We feel at home". La Louvière is a Walloon city and municipality located in the Belgian province of Hainaut. La Louvière´s municipality includes the old communes of Haine-Saint-Paul, Haine-Saint-Pierre, Saint-Vaast, Trivières, Boussoit, Houdeng-Aimeries, Houdeng-Gœgnies, Maurage, and Strépy-Bracquegnies.

The house was property of Jean-Claude Schmit. He was the owner of the sumptuos property which has been rented for Celine. First Jean-Claude Schmit offered Celine a house situated in a 40ha forest in Lasne. But few security problems appeared because Celine would have needed 18 bodyguards a day to keep up the safety. That´s why she chose another house. The house with a surface of 1.200 square metres is built on an area which mesures 4ha and it´s far more easy to make safe. The very nice fittings inside the house are said to have seduced the star: marble floors, luxurious bathrooms, swimming pool. Schmit let the house with the furniture. He payed to have all the walls repainted in Celine´s favourites colours. In spite of the holidays of the building companies, the work was finished on August 2002 under the direction of the company Fronton Architecture from Brussels, Belgium.
