For the album "Taking Chances" released on 2007 Celine Dion recorded the song entitled "A World To Believe". After, to promote the album in Japan, the song was re-recorded as a duet with the Japanese singer Yuna Ito, and released in Japan, as the second single of "Taking Chances", first as a digital download on December 1, 2007 and as a physical CD on January 16, 2008. The Japanese title is "あなたがいる限り" and means "As Long as You are Here". But this one version is not available on "Taking Chances" album. The song was written by Tino Izzo and Rosanna Ciciola. Izzo worked with Dion on her 2007 French-language album D'elles, producing "On s'est aimé à cause". He also produced two other tracks in the past, including "Tout près du bonheur" and "Plus haut que moi." "A World to Believe In," just like other five songs on the Taking Chances album, was produced by Grammy Award-winner John Shanks. The track was re-recorded in October 2007 as an English-Japanese duet with Yuna Ito, retitled as "あなたがいる限り ～A World to Believe In～." Dion was impressed when she heard Ito's cover of "My Heart Will Go On", featured on the Japan only released tribute album Tribute to Céline Dion (September 26, 2007), and proposed the idea of the duet together. "A World to Believe In" follows Ikimono-gakari's "Akaneiro no Yakusoku" to become the ninth LISMO cellphone service TV commercial song, aired from December 1, 2007 onwards. Yuna Ito will support Dion's concerts in Japan, in March 2008 during her Taking Chances Tour. According to Sony BMG official blog, "A World to Believe In" solo album version was the official soundtrack of Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition U.S. TV promos for the week starting November 12, 2007.

The videoclip was shot in Las Vegas, in October 2007. It shows Celine and Yuna Ito in the recording studio. The video, released on December 6, 2008 was nominated for a MTV Video Music Awards Japan in category Best Collaboration Video. It was commercially released on Ultimate Box, which includes 2 CD's and 3 DVDs.
